“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed an “Israeli” delegation will attend Thursday's ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks in Doha, a statement by Netanyahu's office said on Wednesday – per Agence France-Presse (AFP).
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the departure of the Israeli delegation to Doha tomorrow, as well as the mandate for conducting the negotiations," it said.
“Israeli” chief spies will also attend the Doha talks, sources told AFP.
Hebrew channel 12 reported that the delegation will be led by the agency’s chief David Barnea, Shin Bet head Ronen Bar and the “Israeli” army Major General Nitzan Alon.
Senior Netanyahu adviser Ophir Falk will also travel to Doha with the delegation.
